Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy transparently details how TimeDilo handles data, browser storage, and third-party resources based on our actual technical implementation.

1. Browser Local Storage (localStorage)

TimeDilo uses your browser's built-in localStorage API to preserve your user preferences and clock state across reloads. This information is stored exclusively on your personal device and is never transmitted to any remote server or database:

You can clear all stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache/site data or by clicking “Restore Defaults” in the Settings menu.

2. Cookies

TimeDilo's application code does not set, read, or require HTTP cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking, authentication sessions, or personal profiling. Note that edge CDN proxies or web hosts may attach standard protocol-level security headers during transit.

3. Analytics & Advertising

No third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or tracking pixels) and no commercial advertising networks (such as Google AdSense) are integrated into this application. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your usage data.

4. External Services & Fonts

  • Google Fonts: Web fonts (Orbitron, Chakra Petch, Inter, and Share Tech Mono) are loaded from Google's CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests these font files, Google receives standard HTTP request headers, including your IP address and user-agent.
  • Web Audio API: All alarm chimes, bells, and buzzer sounds are synthesized dynamically on your device using the browser's Web Audio API. No external audio files or remote media streams are downloaded.

5. Hosting & Server Logs

Like all web properties, the server hosting TimeDilo automatically receives and records basic network connection data in standard web server logs (such as your IP address, requested page URL, browser type, and access timestamp) for server security, DDoS defense, and technical routing.

Review Before Public Deployment

This policy accurately reflects the codebase as implemented. If you subsequently attach a custom domain with third-party tracking (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Plausible Analytics), embed affiliate widgets, or integrate advertising networks (e.g. AdSense), please review and update this document to declare those external partners prior to publication.
