Please read these terms carefully before using TimeDilo. They outline permitted use, service availability, and essential technical limitations.

Important Notice: Not for Safety-Critical Tasks

TimeDilo’s online alarm clock and timers run entirely within your client web browser. Their operation is subject to device sleep states, operating system power-saving policies, browser background tab throttling, hardware volume levels, and network connectivity. Do not rely on this website for safety-critical tasks, medical reminders, emergency alerts, or high-consequence timing where failure to alert could result in injury, health risk, or financial loss.

1. Permitted Use

TimeDilo provides free browser-based time utilities including a digital clock, alarm clock, countdown timer, lap stopwatch, and international world clock. You are welcome to use these tools for personal, educational, and professional scheduling purposes.

You agree not to use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to flood or degrade the website’s infrastructure, reverse-engineer proprietary assets, or attempt to disrupt service for other users.

2. Technical Limitations & Timing Accuracy

While TimeDilo implements high-resolution timestamps and monotonic interval reconciliation, timekeeping reliability is governed by client-side browser behavior:

  • Browser & Tab State: Alarms and timers require the browser tab to remain open and active. Closing the browser tab terminates the timing thread.
  • Device Sleep: If your computer, phone, or tablet enters sleep or hibernation, web scripts are paused by the operating system until the device is awakened.
  • Audio Autoplay Policies: Modern web browsers enforce autoplay restrictions requiring user interaction (such as a click or keypress) before sound synthesis is permitted.
  • Hardware Volume: Muted speakers, connected Bluetooth headphones, or low volume settings will prevent alarm audio from being heard.

3. Service Availability & Disclaimer of Warranties

TimeDilo is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, immune to browser bugs, or permanently available.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TimeDilo and its contributors disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed alarms, inaccurate time zone conversions, timing discrepancies, or data loss stored in your browser's local storage.

4. Embeds & External Links

If you embed TimeDilo widgets on your own website via iframe snippets, you agree to do so in a manner that does not misrepresent our branding, inject malicious wrappers, or obscure required user interaction controls.

5. Revisions to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in our tools, browser web standards, or service capabilities. Continued use of TimeDilo following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
